Creating myself
While common blog etiquette would have me posting for my readers, today I simply must disagree.
This life is for me to live. I write because it is my passion and I will certainly get to a point where all my posts are done ahead of time. But today is just not that day.
Today I am less than perfect. My posts are late, I'm tired from being up with Aidin all night, and I'm focused on offline tasks.
This is my passion and it will grow stronger once my offline life becomes more solid.
Create yourself today,

Income or Value?
Nothing grows large if it is always cut down to nothing.
Making money online is easy. Making a living online is different.
Many newbies look to ads to make money. They think that they can just slap up a few ads and they'll be set for life. They fail to understand that just like any offline business- the customer wants value and the customer is always right.
Do not seek money- it is a tool.
Seek to give others value and the money will come.
Offer affiliate programs that your readers would be interested in.
Be sure to have accurate keywords so that your ads are of value to your viewers.
Make money online sure! But never forget that there are real life people on the other end of the line who are looking to you to bring value to their lives.

Start Now
When I tell people that I blog online and that I'm with PeopleString they are usually very enthusiastic. They ask how much I made in March 2010 and I reply "Everything combined... about $30"
Their enthusiasm is gone. When I explain that I have only been doing this for about 2 months now... Their next advise is to 'get a job'.
I politely let them know that I do have a job- blogging online and building my String.
You can remake yourself at any age. What they don't emphasize is that it takes T-I-M-E to do so.
I did not become a woman in 2 months.
I did not become a writer in 2 months.
I did not become a mother in 2 months.
Each took time. Just as working from home. I'm giving it time.
If you have a dream- start now. Even if it is slow. Even if they are baby steps.
Just start now.

Take Action
I was reading a free ebook from http://johnchow.com today and he makes a great point.
He states that many people will praise how he makes money online. They enthusiastically say how sound his business principle is but they never get around to actually putting his advice into practice.
I've asked myself "What advice am I not putting into practice?"
To my surprise I found quite a few.
First off- blog posting frequency.
I've read it everywhere- choose how often you will post and stick to it.
Well I'm in this for the long run. So my choice is to post every Monday from all 3 of my blogs.
The other things can wait- I'm going to get this posting every Monday down. ^_^
So I will see you all Monday!

Yes! 3,000 PP... again...
Remember that game that I referred to last post? Guess which hand and it gives or takes how many People Points you wagered.
My cuz, Alanna, loves that game. She gained almost 300 People Points with it. I lost just over 400.
Here is a good life lesson- weigh your risks.
I like the slow and guaranteed route. Yes it is certainly fun to play- just not with something you actually need.
At the very least set a limit of what you are willing to lose. If you are at, say, 150 People Points then set your 'bar' at your level of comfort. For this example I'm going to say 10 People Points are all I'm willing to lose. So I wager 10 PP and yip! I won. I now have 20 PP that I can play with. If wager those 20 PP and lose... I'm done.
So I'm at 3,005 People Points with 20 people in my string. I'm not going to gamble away all my hard work. ^_^
See you next time!

New Game: Guess the hand
I'm really getting to like PeopleString!
I was looking for a way to make money online but I hated all the 'sell sell sell' 'buy my 'training'' then go 'sell sell sell'. So when Clive introduced me to PeopleString via SpiderSales... I was sceptical.
I looked around, it said free so I clicked. I kept waiting for each step to tell me "enter credit card number" and I'd be outta there. Only... before I knew it, I had a profile with PeopleString and had already made my first few cents.
At first it was just me telling friends and them wanting in- I didn't even 'sell' it. I just said how cool it was to be making a few cents everyday.
Then I learned more about it and tweeted it. Now some people I've never met have joined and 1 even upgraded to the Entrepreneur Package.
I currently have 19 people in my String, 7 direct. To help show people around the site I created my own training site with more pages being added soon.
Yesterday my cuz, Alanna, and I were talking about how fun the new game is. "Guess Which Hand" allows you to wager People Points and you literally guess which hand has your People Points in it. If you guess correctly, your wagered People Points are doubled. Guess wrong and you lose those People Points. We both find it very fun.
I'm excited to see which new games they come up with next! ^_^
Create yourself a great day,
Cyi

Repost from Updates: "Why"
I posted this on my updates and wanted to share here as well.
I'm with a company called PeopleString. To help me with growing my 'string' I sought out help from a mentor.
My mentor has had me listen to an audio that suggests to write down your "why". The reason why you are with the company and why you will stick with it through the down times.
As many of you know, I came from an abusive background, have been homeless, $0 to my name many times, and frustrated because I didn't know how to get out.
Two things to highlight about PeopleString:
1) It is free to join
2) It is easy to understand what to do.
When I first listened to the chapter about "why" I wrote this down:
"Why? What does he mean why?
Because it's the right thing to do! To show people how to make money from $0 so that they can be FREE. (underlined and circled a couple of times.) It's F***ED up not knowing anything and wanting to learn but being told you have to pay to learn how to make money. WTF? I HAVE NO MONEY if I'm hungry and homeless!!! I did not want a hand out just freedom. I can use PS to free others. To show them how to earn money but then also how to budget that money so they are free. That's why. To free others while freeing myself.
(on the back a few hours later)
So that Ai (my 5 month old son) doesn't have to be raised by someone else while I make money. I want to mentor him, witness him growing, and learn from him. I can't imagine seeing him shut away in some daycare during these months when he needs to be bonding with me. I witnessed the first time he sat up. The first time he stood up. His first bath. I want to witness his first walk and his first few words. I want to be a MOM (Circled)."
I was afraid to share my "why". Concerned that it was not 'enough' or that others would see it as 'fake' or 'weak'. It has taken me a good week of hard core thinking on this and I've decided that my "why" is for me.
When I tuck my son in at night and add another page to my site instead of getting some much needed sleep- I know my "why".

How did I get into all this?
I'm a public speaker. After posting some ads via SalesSpider, I received a message from Clive that asked me to check out this thing called PeopleString.
I had already been looking at various MLMs and was fed up with "Sell Sell Sell" "Buy my 'training' and get out there" "Sell Sell Sell" mentality that they all pushed.
It looked cool to be paid for checking my mail and using the web. (Things I was already doing anyway so why not get paid, right?) Free Account- was actually free. It didn't ask for my credit account or tell me I had to complete some 'offers' before going to the next step.
I had an account with PeopleString and already made my first $0.10 which may not seem like a lot but it's better than having to pay... say $1 for it.
As I looked around I really loved that everything I needed was there. The portals to my Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, PeopleString Email are SO nice!
See, I'm a 'neat freak'. Especially when it comes to being online. There is just so much info out there that I get 'overloaded' and 'lost' very quickly. Heck, it was only a few weeks ago that I even learned what a 'permalink' was! (If you don't know it is a direct link to a specific posting.)
So I log in, and I have all the info I need on 1 page. If they don't have a portal for a site, I just add my own site under the Favorites tab. ^_^
That's my personal reason for staying with PeopleString- it pays me to keep organized online.
Create yourself a great day!

+ $0.10 will always be better

People String
Like many people, I have struggled financially.
I certainly was never taught as a child how to become rich. I've been homeless multiple times, lived out of a car, had a car repossessed, and lost bank accounts. That's how I became SO passionate about attaining then training others on how to create financial abundance in their lives.
The tool that I use is called PeopleString. It's free to join and doesn't cost anything monthly.
The really awesome thing is that you earn on referrals 6 levels down while doing things that you are ALREADY doing.
I've created a site to walk you through it. It's free and you can cancel at any time. So have a look around- it may just be enough to ease some financial burdens.
